Drawing upon an energy unknown
to my faulted spirit,...

I pause.

A palpable moment,
clearly tepid thoughts journey many miles
toward an epiphany,
an anticipated delicacy.
A jungle of tangled vines enveloping my soul...

I remember.

Uninhibited actions brought on by
a paralyzing fear.
Less comfort,...
isolation,...
unstable movements,...
halting.
No power,...

I hesitate.

Life before me shadowing a less restrictive
existence.
Unattainable,...
an inability to perform,...
constructing a mental image
bringing renewed energy,...

I pause again.
