Remember when I felt special?
Like a city alive?
Buzzing with stuff, important or not.
Or not.

Feel like a hound dog, with bloody great teeth
and a temper you wouldn't forget
in a hurry.
Or not.

Can't make sense of what’s been said,
but I know it feels cataclysmic.
Maybe things will be clearer tomorrow.
Or not.
