The Doctor

Limerick about a doctor and a nurse.

There once was a wealthy young doctor
Who hired a nurse named Miss Proctor.
She was late every day,
So when counting her pay,
She found that the doctor had docked her.

The nurse was quite fond of the doctor,
so this action most certainly shocked her.
But he died the next day,
and from then on they say
the only one late was the doctor.
