I wrote this when I was really depressed.

I'm the one you see in the hall
You don't even look at me twice
I'm the one who makes you laugh
I'm the one who's not thought of
The one that's forgotten about
The one in the back of the classroom
The one silently crying the the bathroom stall
The girl with the artificial smile
Making jokes so no one will see
That she's empty inside

But you'll miss her when she's gone
When there's an empty desk behind you
A locker no longer in use
When there's no fat girl dropping things in the hall
No hearty laugh to brighten the hour
No one cutting herself between classes
No one taking up space
Just a memory
Just a picture in your mind
Only to be forgotten in time.
