EARTH
strangely beautiful
her pale white skin
spotted with blood
her now vacant eyes
once held life itself
behind her trailing
tattered broken wings
the earth shook
as frozen tears fell
why did the world grieve?
for one soul?
for one life?
for she was the earth
now body battered and broken
empty eyes that held all.
