I Wonder

Where does life lead YOU?

I sit back and wonder
where life will take me
My eyes are open wide
but still I can't see

People come and people go
but deep inside they never know
What does tomorrow bring?
Will I be happy? Will I sing?

I look at the people
that surrond me this night
A great many friends
what a beautiful sight

I wonder why I'm here today
should I leave or should I stay
I wonder who will really care
when the real me is naked and bare

Tears begin to fall inside
from this pain I can not hide
Betrayed by those I trusted most
Something of which I do not boast

I'm tired of this pain
I wish it would go away
It seems I've nothing left to gain
So this is all I'll say

I'm here til end
till death do us part
A friendship unending
that blooms from the heart
