This Bipolar Brain

What it's like to have Bipolar illness.

Excited, agitated and in pain-
This BiPolar brain.
Just a small chemical imbalance up there;
Never mind how hard it is to bear.
Yesterday I was whirling fast,
But now that day is past.
Today I'm moving quite slow.
I feel so down, I feel so low;
Dark depression over takes me.
Now why should that be?
Never mind, just take your meds,
While others merely shake their heads.
