Something i wrote about my little sister's toy hamster...

My little sister has a toy hamster and she still thinks it's real, this inspired me to write something for her.

Hampy

You stare up at me with those shiny black eyes.
Rounded, like two glistening orbs.
Unblinking.
Your white fur; so soft and perfectly formed.
It’s as if you’re alive. You’re not.
But you’re still real to me.
Unnatural.
Your small pink ears seem to twitch,
As I watch you run across the floor in your ball…like a transparent sun.
Unbelievable
How I could feel this way about you.
