God is in the sands
in our hands
throughout all lands.

and serenity

in the air

shoreline devotions.

and in the condemnation,
that we show.

God is in the sinner,
and in the saint.

God is in flawed perfection.
God is in the agnostic's "Amen."
God is Faith.

God is in depression,
God is in elation.

God is in the dog at your feet,
God is in the black in the street,
God is the dust that may rise,
To blind and tear our eyes.

God is in the full bowl,
and in the starved soul.

God is in the grey day,
and in the golden ray.

God is in the sky,
and in the sea,
simultaneously.

God is in the inner voice
that speaks in silence.
