BLESSINGS

The best things in life are truly free,
no price tag on these moments in time!
These are blessings from God above
who creates a special "I love you" sign.

Morning sun peeking through pines,
bluebirds as they pause in flight,
a welcome sight of morning glories;
a first star to wish on in the night.

The color of the trees in the Fall,
with vivid tones of red and gold;
The first snowflakes as they appear
and leave you smiling at the cold.

A gentle doe that stops to feed
and lifts her head to watch a fawn
breathing in the sweet fresh air,
time so precious, she lingers on.

A baby's smile, a mother's joy
when she holds her newborn child;
Laughing children run with delight
in a field of daises; undefiled.

So many blessings come our way
for those of us with eyes to see,
to hold on to these treasures and
to relive each pricelss memory!
