Lost hope and dreams

this is a poem i wrote after a very sad tragedy in my school

Do you see the tears?

Do you see the hate?

Do you know the pain you caused?

You took your life

But so much more than that

You took hopes, dreams, and caring

And you threw them out the window

Now she cries herself to sleep at night

Her head on my shoulder tears on her cheek

Such a selfish act, that can’t be undone

She lost hopes and dreams

You had it all going for you

Family, friends, talents, looks, and caring

Why in the heck did you do that?

I don’t know if I'll never understand

I just hope the rest of us can move on

No pain, no tears, or fears, or hurt

Just love, hope, and faith

I’ll see you in heaven, and ask you then

And maybe with your help I'll understand.
