LET THEM LEARN

a prayer for my grandsons

Help me Lord:
To open their minds and let them learn
To never hate, for hate destroys
But to love instead, for love creates

To hold compassion for others
And never the apathy that so fills the world

To never hold bitterness within them
But to learn forgiveness and understanding
So that they will know contentment

To know truth and honesty
As much within themselves
As with others

Help me Lord to let them learn
