A kind depressing poem I wrote a few years ago.

Blood Red Sea

An unending sea of pain
Blood red waves splashing
The soft caress of rain
Amid the roaring and crashing

Eyes closed once and now forever
In darkness see what has been severd
Floating in the crimson sea
Forever alone, forever me

Dreams shattered, all hope faded
Soul once happy, now bitter and jaded
Reaching out, but shunned it falters
To calmly float on ruby waters

In silence now forever lost
The soul and body forever tossed
Forever alone forever me
Lost on the blood red sea
