A poem on a broken relationship

It's come too soon.
It's gone too fast.
Why can't we just make it last ?

I've tried this door
once before,
took me to a special place.
Left me there in outer space.

Floating free,
soon you'll see.
My world is not as you believe.

Took my soul
rent, unwhole.
Took it to the underworld
while my love for you unfurled.

Not a care left in my heart,
I'm gonna take it all apart.
I made you mine, left behind,
I'm sure that you'll be fine.
