BECAUSE OF YOU

Because of you, I have learned
that love can and will last;
you gave me a chance to heal
from all the hurts of the past.

Because of you, I have picked up
the pieces of my life and grown
to become a much better person,
if only in your eyes alone.

Because of you, I can face
each new day with courage now,
knowing that whatever comes
you will be there, somehow.

Because of you, there is strength
to go on and conquer the fears
and thank you, my dearest friend,
for being there to dry my tears.
