This is my third poem a comparison of trees and people |
| Trees and People Trees have strong roots, they grow wider as they age, they reach for the sun, they can be sick and twisted, they can heal themselves and they live long lives. People rather die than be moved, they can grow to giant proportions, they come in many colours, they want to escape their parents, and they can survive after losing a limb. Trees and people have one true link, the desire to reproduce, To survive. By Ian Robert Parkin |
