I Love You

One realizes the one they turned down, is the one they love.

You told me you loved,
And I couldn’t speak.
I turned around,
And walked away.

I lied to myself,
And kept my feelings inside.
I said I didn’t love you,
I said I didn’t want you… at all.

By now it's too late,
I do love you,
But you’ve moved on,
And I’ve only just caught up.
