"love"

this is a poem about love and how i misunderstood it but then realized its importance.

i once thought love was a game but then i heard it call my name. i thought i could ignore the call to keep my heart from taking a fall.i thought it was something i wouldnt need, but it planted itself in my heart like a seed. when i met you my heart took a leap, i've been so happy i can hardly sleep. to me you're like a gift from above, sent here to show me the meaning of love.
