A short poem for the minus vowel contest |
| School days (minus e) School days, my days of fun Playing always in the hot sun Tutors shouting at us And making a big fuss About math and history And causing us lot of worry My ma and my papa call out As I run, I think both shout ‘Study good and hard in school. Fail not, for all will call you a fool’ But all I think of is my football For that is my world - my ball I could not finish school and did fail My pa did cry and my momma wail But I worry not for I do know With my kicks and goals I can show That I am a sportsman with a ball Who can win any match of football. |
