Watching a fly caught in a spider web

The fly,
Caught in the web.

Tangled,
In the threads of death.

Silent scream,
Struggles to be free.

Helpless,
Knows the end has come.

Threads quiver,
Spider darts forth.

The fly,
wrapped in a blanket of death.
To be sucked dry tomorrow.
