A poem about Valentines day at school in 5th grade seen from a girl that does not fit in.

Just One Day

Why did you make me go
To school today?
I don't fit in.
I've nothing to say
It was just one day

I have a headache
My stomach hurts too
The sun is shining
but I'm crying to you
Why couldn't you spare
Just one day.

You gave me a list
You thought it was fun
I made out the cards
To each and every one
Would they remember me?
please..
It's just one day

I passed out the cards.
Like I was supposed to
Each and every one.
Went back to my desk

Everyone had boxes
Stuffed so full
Cards
Candy
Laughs

I opened my box
There were two
You didn't hear
What I was saying
I couldn't get through
Why couldn't you spare
Just one day?
