Gritting his teeth,

He still had his demons
that would give him no peace.
He still had his temper,
that he could never keep.

She gave him some peace,
in his time of war.
He began to realize,
he loved her to the core.

Their bundel was born,
in the summer of that year.
His pride and honor grew strong,
when he held his baby near.

It started with the lies,
and the cries he kept inside.
She broke his heart in two,
He struggled with what to do.

He reazlied she was a phony,
lieing to his face.
He wanted to slap her,
and put her in her place

They're together again,
and that is fine.
