Where we look when we try to find ourselves.

I looked far into the night, but I was not there
I looked throughout the day, but I was not there

I looked into different clothing, but I was not there.
I looked into peircings and mutilations, but I was not there.

I looked into parties and new freinds, but I was not there.
I looked into drugs, but I was not there.

I finally realized that I had run out of places to look.
Where am I hiding? Why can't I find myself?

I realized that I had looked everywhere except right here...Inside.
