I really enjoyed the imagery and structure of this piece. It was evocative and well-written.


Suggestions

The only small quibble I had with the piece was the rhyming couplet where both lines ended with the same word ("damned"). That's not an easy word to rhyme while maintaining the pace and imagery, but it would have been great to find an alternative option to give things a little more variety.
