This is a great write, should hold every reader as it has me. I take it that the first two lines are a prologue since the end words do not rhyme. The story is told with perfect end rhyme in every line. The imagery is fine and paints a picture of all that happens in this cottage. The rhythm is so grand that I can almost sing the well chosen words.
