Wow! What a wonderful poem is written here! Yes, truly, "Day by Day" is one of the rarest of the short poems which I ever read in where the poet Mindertwenty has painted the pictures of the tough days with some selective words brilliantly. Though the words are very simple but the poet uses some symbolic words, too. Here the poet uses the word 'light' as symbolic. The word 'light' indicates the proper direction. Similarly, 'the darkest night' is nothing but the indiction of serious helplessness.
The poet explains the entire situation within the help of minimum words which is really an incredible performance. I must salute the poet for this type of exceptional performance.
