I enjoyed all this poem except that the last line to me read as something of an anticlimax, especially considering the vibrant and vivid imagery utilized throughout the poem. Perhaps it's just me. (sigh) I very much enjoyed lines such as "Suffering amphibians hatch," and you cleverly imaged sensory input throughout, in some odd and unusual ways. I also liked your "Templar" reference, as that is a historical interest of mine.

This line: "Strewn candlelight brings end of days" struck me as being both time-specific (in terms of one individual day) but also as Apocalyptic (bringing the End of Days).
