I wonder if portrayal of disorders in TV or film would be helpful anyway. I would think such portrayals would be deliberately over-the-top, for sensationalism purposes, and also because TV and film can't delineate the way fiction and nonfiction can (imho). I'd prefer to read about it in a book. I just read yesterday THE CASSANDRA by Sharma Shields, which is a totally extraordinary example of psychological revelation.
