![]() What brought tHiNg to glide in a space time continuum over to your port? ![]() ![]() What does tHiNG think about while perusing your item? ![]() ![]() I thought this was very powerful and the rhyme just at the end of both stanza's is very effective and moving to me. It all was, really. At the end of something there can be the choice or the inevitability of not seeing someone again. Either way, that is a profound challenge to live with such an outcome. What does tHiNG applaud about while reading your item? It was all wonderful, but this was the part that moved me most: "She would hum him tunes of her childhood. He would sing back the tales of youth. And despite the destruction they lived through they knew what they longed for was truth." Oh that truth, eh? Maybe they long for that which will hurt the most when it is seen, realized or recognized. Brilliant poetry, start to finish. It could apply to most any doomed relationship in a number of instances. Wonderful! ![]() tHiNG a.k.a. 4ps a.k.a. HOOves P.S. I am someone who loves to read and review. That is a pretty simple statement and it is true, in the spirit of Ernest Hemingway, who once said, "Write one true thing." ![]() Ta Ta until we meet again in another place and time....
