Thing Signature Made For tHiNg!

What brought tHiNg to glide in a space time continuum over to your port?

*Cow* You sent me a nice review recently, so here I am to return the review.

What does tHiNG think about while perusing your item?

*Cool**Idea* I think we all have family like this. I know I do. Friends not so much because they are easier to dispense with. I guess we can choose who we remain friends with, but relatives (I don't consider them family if they act this way) are always around.

This is why people who win lotteries choose to remain secret. These sorts come crawling out of the woodwork at the sniff of anything positive in anyone's life.

What does tHiNG applaud about while reading your item?

This was the best part to me as I identified most strongly here:

"i didn't even know she was still alive,
but here she is on the phone
trying to act like she calls all the time
what she really wanted was a loan,"

Oh, I do know her. I actually have a cousin who engaged in this sort of thing. She wants her lifestyle subsidized, also. Thankfully, I do not have texting on my phone. But, she did text nasty things to the ninety-plus year old uncle who said no to her. She was quite abusive and used her sick mother to try and hit people up. The mother knew nothing of it.

I actually have got to the point now where I enjoy saying no just to see what sort of temper tantrum they will throw my way. Then, like you, I can use it in my writing sometime, appropriately changing up the identify of the culprit. Most know better than that, but someone who always wants others to pay for things like trips and weddings never quite gets it.

Fine poem about a familiar sort of odd ball! Well done!

P.S. I am someone who loves to read and review. That is a pretty simple statement and it is true, in the spirit of Ernest Hemingway, who once said, "Write one true thing." *Heart*
