This is nice poetry. It is short and precise. A favorite is a loved one. Somebody we adore and like. The person is smart, he is ignorant, and he is violent. He is something to think about. He is the apple of the poetess's eye. She thinks about him and she likes him. She is in love with him. Will they get along together is to be seen. The poetry is very vivid in its description. It shows the affection we have for people we like. It is also indicative of how we admire them. It is perhaps our singular perception about a person.
