| Hi 🌑 Darleen - QoD  ! I am Aqua and the following are only my personal opinions. Ultimately, you and only you can decide what works best for your item. Hey there again! Dropping by with another review as a small, early gift for your anniversary, I hope you enjoy! The title of your poem captured my attention and my first impression of the poem was that it might fall on the 'horror' and 'scary' genre, a poem about ghosts or maybe sad memories but I didn't think it would be a poem about your late father. I am very sorry to hear about his death and for your loss, no matter how much time passes, you will never properly and completely get over the pain and the heartbreak. I, for one, am very fortunate to have both of my parents alive and well and I dread the day when one or both of them will be gone. The poem was very beautiful, it was filled with warm, innocent and touching emotions, without a doubt, your love for your father is very clear in your poem, your father and you shared a very sweet bond. The starting couplet was very touching, it seemed to me like a small girl, somewhere around ten or thirteen was speaking those lines. Nevertheless, it touched me. We all say how sorry we are for the loss but it is true that only you can actually feel and know how it all feels, influences you etc. The tone of the poem changes when you suddenly mention about stopping of the heart beat and your screams, that was extremely emotional and I was on the brink of crying. Your powerful, effective and perfect vocabulary allowed the reader to imagine the entire heart breaking scene in her mind. The flow of your poem was very good, there was no interruption and my favourite couplets were the : Watching as you died with one hand folded into mine, Is an image in my head that repeats itself all the time. The coldness of your skin as I stroked your cheek at your wake was just enough to push me where it was almost more than I could take Very, very touching, a lovely poem about your father. He would be so proud of a daughter like you!  Thank you for sharing your work with us!
