| Hi, Grace! This is a nice heartwarming story, and considering how short it is, it really says a lot! And what's even better is that it's true, and I think it's great that you volunteer your time for such a worthy cause (thank you!). I don't think anybody could have turned that child down, especially with those 'big puppy-dog eyes', and giving him 5 green beans instead of only 4 just shows just how big of a heart you have!  Beautiful! Personally, I hate green beans. I eat green beans, though, but only as a tribute to my sweet Grandmother, who more or less raised me and put up with my finicky eating all during my youth. Like most kids, I don't like vegetables (I'm 52 now, by the way  ), and every time I'm served green beans I think of my Grandmother and picture her looking at me and pleading with me to eat them. She put up with a lot from me, and I know she's a Saint now and most likely reading this right now!I love you, Granma Mae! Thanks for sharing this, Grace! Kee ponw ritin gon, my friend!
