Overall Impression:

This piece made me giggle, Lorraine. I could so easily picture the situation. The woman's frustration. Her spotting a solution to the problem. Her actually going ahead with it. The little kid's indignation. It's not easy to write an effective flash fiction piece, but you did it here. Just perfect.

I can relate as well. I've been camping once. Or, for one week on a survival trip, where I had to put up tents in different locations. Never again. Ever. I think I'm definitely a hotel kind of person.

I'm trying to imagine now what will happen next. What the parents will think has happened to their pole. If the kid will keep quiet or tell on Georgia. If the parents will believe the kid. That means that you have managed to draw me in, so again, well done!

Suggestions:

I have no suggestions, Lorraine. Not very helpful, I know, but I didn't spot any errors nor did I see anything that I felt you could improve upon. Great job!
