This poem is a prayer. and it may be Acrostic form but found it very repetitious.
'The Psalm mentioned as the footnote is very good,The Lord is my rock and my fortress, and my deliverer
My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge';
these lines spell out the belief in the god extremely well. The poem moves in one direction with as said before with the repetitious lines. like all prayers this seems to be devotional too.
