Hi Warped Sanity!

I am the Wordy Jay and I'm here to celebrate YOU -- my fellow Power Reviewer -- with a review! (What else?!)


First off, congrats for placing 2nd in the "The Bard's Hall Contest" ! That's no mean feat, seeing that you have to solve a mystery in precisely 16 sentences -- kudos!

You made the most of the imposed sentence limit by writing really descriptive scenes. Also, not only did you solve the mystery, you added a twist to boot! Real impressive!

Personally, I wasn't too convinced with the ending -- I absolutely loved the twist, but didn't find it very believable, somehow. Unfortunately, I'm unable to offer any helpful suggestions here.

I suppose the sentence limit didn't allow you to flesh out much of the details, so there's not much of a chance to do any explaining/convincing.

Apart from that, I enjoyed your short story and found it to be a great read!


Well, that's just my 2 cents' worth! Feel free to do whatever you wish with my suggestions -- whether it is to adopt them, discard them, or anything in between!
