First Impressions:

That pretty much summed things up. They usually don't use the word 'rejected' though - if they even took the time to respond. We know that's what it means. Actually getting published is awesome and it gets sweeter after going through a few rejects first.

My Favorite Elements:

I could identify with this.

Suggestions:

Fiftyish? I would delete the word 'like' in front of anxiety as well. Nitpicky, I know but this a review and I have to.

Overall:

Nice little short piece of writing. A lot of people here will be able to identify with it. Keep up the good work.
