| The Dark Side of Winnie the Pooh A cynical teenager's retrospect on a childhood classic. May necesitate therapy |
| Buenos dias, Ginsberg! I’m glad I found this (I’ve been wanting to read it for a while because I knew it was going to be hilarious just from the title), and it’s nice to know that somebody shares my opinions about Winnie and his ‘friends’. This is brilliant, and it shows exactly what the literary and television media is doing to our society under the guise of ‘entertainment’! I love how you brought out each character’s idiosyncrasies, not one of which was better (or worse) than the others. I was laughing from the 1st word to the last! And to think that Milne actually created these characters for his own son’s amusement (if I recall correctly). What kind of sick, twisted person would do that to their own child? I hope you’ll excuse me for being so picky, but I don’t think such a great article should have any niggles: ‘...stuck in Rabbit's doorway as a result of eating to(o) much’ ‘obses(s)ive compulsive disorder’ ‘to be clean, and prestine’ (pristine) Thank you for pointing out these ‘quirks’. It’s obvious that A.A. Milne was trying to subliminally corrupt our own youth with these talking animals (a ludicrous idea in itself), and yet he’s still being allowed to corrupt future generations? When will somebody step in and stop this madness? Thanks for sharing this, Ginsberg. It was a pleasure to read, and you can definitely consider me to be one of ‘The Latter’. Kee ponw ritin gon, have a great day (hope to see back here soon!), and...
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
