Hello, Rex Kramer Author Icon! I am Aqua and the following are only my personal opinions. Ultimately, you and only you can decide what works best for your item.


I was searching for something to review from your portfolio and this caught my attention. The title of your flash fiction was very intriguing because I wanted to write what kind of a story it was and if it was as it seemed. The title gave the reader the impression that perhaps it would be about a person who finds the sea relaxing and perhaps he finds something while his time on the beach. The reader was intrigued by the words you were given as prompt and she wanted to know what kind of a flash fiction you had come up using those given words.

The story was totally not what the reader had expected from the title of it! Really, the reader was in for a surprise as it was something completely different. The way you began your story was very serious and full of suspense, it made the reader completely oblivious of her surroundings and absorbed in your story. There was so much suspense and fear built that I didn't expect such an element of comedy introduced to the story. Gosh, to think that he'd die alone and no one would be able to save him and then suddenly a surprise gift from his wife who he ran away for to have some quiet time! *Laugh* Quite a lesson for Hank here and other males out there! *Rolling* The flow of your story was good, there was no interruption. The mood and the setting was quite interesting. Loved it!
