First Impression: What a powerful piece! I would say many women would benefit from reading this.

What needs your attention: Absolutely nothing! I love the way you've set it up, the bold Yes words, beginning all but the last stanza with "Never again."

What part I liked best: I like it all, of course, but after reading through it again, I think my favorite part is:

mix compassion and heart
with humor and strength.

I feel that is so important not only for us, but others. Nice job, Vanillafire.

Overall impression: I am assuming you have learned all this, or at least much of it, from past experience, since you mentioned it in your summary. Wow. You are fortunate to discover all this about yourself. Perhaps you are a mentor for other women, or at least could be if they read your poem. Nice job!
