| (5.0)| Hi there, Stardust! This is really neat, and even though there's a few punctuation niggles in it, they seem to just make the story better, if that makes any sense. Bo reminds me so much of my old pit bull, Bru! I swear, he used to do same thing about running up trees trying to catch squirrels! He's be one end of the park and see a squirrel at the other, and then he off and moving at full speed. That darn squirrel would wait there until just the last minute and then race up to the top of the tree, with Bru at his heels. I swear one day he went 1/2 way up a light pole trying to catch one! But Bo seems to have had quite a personality. I can just picture him running sideways alongside your bike as you delivered those papers, and the funny thing is that wasn't even your dog. Well, oddly enough, Bru wasn't mine either! He was a foster dog, so to speak. His real owner left him with me to 'dog sit' for a couple of weeks, and I was scared to death of pit bulls. But after about a week I realized he was pretty cool and kind of took a liking to him. And by the time his real owner came back to get him TWO YEARS LATER, there wasn't a chance in HELL he was going to get Bru back! I loved that dog, the best one I ever had. I still have his collar hanging in my bedroom. Anyway, great piece, Stardust! Thanks for sharing it, and thanks for bringing up those memories of Bru for me!
