Ahoy, Karen!
This is pretty good, but I did see that ending coming. Regardless, I thought the idea of it was great, and you used those prompt words perfectly. These 300 word FF's aren't easy-been there, done this-but you seem to have a talent for it.
Cathy had every reason to be angry. Personally, I'd be planning some revenge!
Please excuse me for being picky, but I did see a couple of tiny niggles:
'...Cathy arrived at work (and) there was a bouquet of flowers'
"Did you like the flowers and treats I sent you?(") Michelle asked'
