I liked how you colored your acrostic poem with the colors of the rainbow. I also liked how you pack a punch in just a few words. There is a lot said in this brief poem. Everyone is alone, or lonely; everyone is "different" or "queer" (which in this case means 'odd'); and yes, we Americans seem to legislate what is a "right" whether is actually is or not.

My favorite line is the last one: "Everyone has the ability to love and be loved" No truer words can be found, in my opinion. I spotted no typos or grammar issues (and I shouldn't - right? as you are an English major).

This little poem has packed a huge wallop! Thought provoking, as I am sure that was your intention.
