The picture of the tragic face of the girl wearing the blue scarf is right before my eye. Imagery is visual with a strong mental appeal. We know how the scarf affects the outside world and its association with terror.

Followed her footsteps."
Innocent people belonging to the religion are pitilessly slaughtered by those who hated it, afraid of it and ready to kill for it.
The poet's helplessness is understandable. None can do much to those who face these circumstances.
"I am ashamed
That was
All I could do."
Short stanzas but strong in conveying sentiment and reality.
