| (5.0)  "SIMPLY POSITIVE GROUP" Hello, there Stargazer ~ DavidtheDreamer This is a Simply Positive Review!  Compact, yet packing a full story for the reader to absorb in her mind's eye. I love the words chosen: book and binding -- dusty, knows, his, lost-- they all beautifully give impact to this senryu.   It isn't easy crafting a beautiful haiku or senryu, for the writer needs to do more than count syllables. This is perfect because not only is the syllable count perfect in each line, the consonance, assonance and sibilance give it powerful purpose in the reader's mind.P.S. I loved the paw prints. It made the imagination come alive with the thought of a pet visiting the bookcase.  I do have a vivid imagination, though!  Excellent! Good luck with the Quill's nomination!!!
