Overall impression: This story has a lot of emotion. It looks at abuse and dark feelings and the toll it takes. The style is easy to read, and the lesson revealed in the story is well presented

Characterization: The story unfolds as Tahlia tells it. Her interaction with Ayden brings the story to life. Both characters are well done.

Dialogue: I enjoyed the dialogue, and it advances the story.
