Hi Purple! Although I'm not a romantic, I did enjoy this piece. And it's relevant to me because years ago I had to go through a divorce. We were high school lovers (not so much 'sweethearts') and young. We were hitched for about 31/2 years with 2 daughters, and it wasn't until we were officially seperated and she found a new guy that I realized just how much I truly did love her. It took me a very long time to get over that, even though we were still friends (with the girls we had to be). Fortunately though, I survived. And after 25 years have gone by, we are still good friends. Great spelling and telling, but what I liked most was your way of telling people that there are ways to at least take your mind off of your grief. One niggle:
'...when they lose something important(,) or special to them.' (don't need that comma) Good job, Purple, and welcome to WdC!
