| Title: Black Friday Author: cuckoo Type: Poem I can't think of many things worse than Black Friday. I just don't understand waiting in a long line for the store to open, then battling with all the people to get the few items that they place on sale. No, I'd rather have the flu than to be out on Black Friday, lol. Obviously there are those people to find shopping in such severe conditions to be fun. I suppose it is a challenge to beat the other guy to a product and to save a few dollars in the process. I guess one man's torture is another man's pleasure. I liked these lines: Will shop till Dad's last penny Has been spend to buy many a thing, we'll nee this Christmas{/c First, I think you meant, "need" in line three. But I liked that it is dad's money you are spending. That is very wise of you! lol. The rhymes are a little predictable, but the poem is more about the fun subject and not about how good the rhymes are. It is a poem written for fun. The last line sort of seems tacked on just as a way to end the poem. If it were me, I might find a different way to complete the poem. ** Image ID #1795159 Unavailable **
