Analysis: A whole year, wow, that is cool. Some anonymous once gifted me a 3 month upgrade a few months back to I know how it feels to have someone do something nice for you. A whole year will come i handy too. What I did during my three months was join a review group (which I see you've already done) and save up my points and bought my next upgrade. That would be a possibility you might want to look into.

I'm quite astounded at the level of generosity on this site and I can't help but think if we extended that kindness towards social programs like poverty, we could do some great things.It is just a case of changing the mind set.

I like what you are saying here. Since you can't pay it back, pay it forward. So yes, become more active on the site. Read, review, write. One thing I sometimes like to do is to credit people anonymously when they do interesting reviews. It's fun to watch them rise up the most credited list when I do.

Odds are, whoever gave you the year membership won't even review this piece, but they will likely read it and be pleased. That is all most people want, is to know that their benevolence was appreciated.
