This is your entry for my blogging prompt: If the Zombie Apocalypse were to right this second, what would you use to defend yourself? Okay, you didn't quite follow the prompt, but it's an interesting story, so I'll use it to judge your survival in a real-life situation. You have a nail gun- I hope it uses CO2 cartridges. You used fire to defend your home- generally a bad idea, especially when it causes an explosion. You lack an adequate melee weapon, that will cost you. Odds of survival- Seems to be better than average.

Get rid of the long line at the top- just having the prompt as bold tells people which is which. You are also missing quotation marks in your dialogue.
